Dimensions: 30 ft x 40 ft
ground floor (1200 sq ft)
Eave Height: 13 ft. 6 inches
Notes: This barn is a great example of a traditional 30x40 early English barn. It is made of all hand hewn chestnut timbers. The roof rafters are also hand hewn. The frame has it's original hand-carved "marriage marks" (Roman numerals) on the beams, indicating an early construction. This barn dates to the late 1700's.
