In this application, an interior roof deck of antique 1x6 pine was laid on the rafters first, then covered over by the SIPs.
Antique 1x10 pine covers the interior walls after wiring and windows are installed, and mirrors the exterior board and batten siding. This gives the visual impression of the single-thickness board siding of a traditional barn.
