| On this restored Dutch barn, only the upper loft was insulated and air conditioned. SIPs were used on the roof with conventional fiberglass insulation on the loft walls. The exterior of the barn frame was clad with rough sawn white pine, acting as the interior finished walls. Finally, the barn’s exterior was sided with stone.
